"The Strongest Shall Rule"
Darwin's theory of natural evolution states that life is the survival of the fittest, that the strongest will and do rule over everything else. In the WWE the growth of a new faction, taking its cue from the legendary Four Horsemen, Degeneration X and the Nation of Domination has emerged - Evolution.
It comprises of the best there was - Ric Flair, an older wrestler content to let the young ones take the credit while he gets the benefit of seeing his proteges learn, himself being promoted into the highlight and the WWE flourish as a result. The current hero is Triple H, a champion many times over who works harder than anyone for the business. The two new recruits bear the weight of having to prove to the world that they are as good as everyone says. The first recruit has some experience under his belt as a recruit on Smackdown and before that as a wrestler with the OVW - Batista. Although still young he has more experience than his fellow newbie. This newbie however is being feted as the new "Rock", a legend in the making - Randy Orton. The similarities between the third generation star, whose father and grandfather were both legends in their own rights with the company and the Rock are too much of a coinkydink to be ignored. Orton is only 23, a career as a US Marine behind him, a stint with the OVW and the Intercontinetal Championship behind him and a bright future ahead of him.
